Join us Sunday 2/18 for an exciting day of racing at Quarry Road Trails!

Downeast 18k Freestyle Loppet -Adventurers, challenge seekers, and distance lovers – the Downeast 18km Freestyle Loppet is making a return for its second year.  Hosted by the Downest Racing Team, the race will take place this Sunday at Quarry Road Trails due to lack of snow on the coast. The snow making loop should provide excellent conditions and great spectating opportunities. Whether you want to race or cheer on your friends and/or family, this event is the place to be this weekend! So gather up your skis and support crew and enjoy the atmosphere. This race is part of the Part of the NENSA Marathon Series and scored to NENSA Zak Cup and Club Cup.

Quarry Road Race Series - Following the Loppet we will be hosting skate ski races for all ages, including distances for BKL, Middle School, High School skiers, and Adults (who want to race less than 18k!). A full schedule and link to register can be found below. Sign up today to join the fun!

9:00am - Bib pickup and registration opens in the yurt

10:00am - Freestyle Loppet 18km Mass Start

12:00pm - Lollipop Ski Race (500m)

12:15pm - Grades 1-4 Race (1.5k)

12:30pm - Loppet 18k Awards on Yurt Deck

1:00pm - Grades 5-8 Race (3k)

1:30pm - High School / Adult Race (6k)
